Event title: “Innovation-Driven Prosperity: Elevating Entrepreneurial Voices through Global Digital Cooperation”

Organizers and co-hosts

  • Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO)
  •  Global Partnership Forum

Event Overview:

The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), representing a diverse set of Member States, has placed innovation and entrepreneurship at the heart of 4-year Agenda for 2025-2028. As part of its commitment to multilateral cooperation and the operationalization of the Global Digital Compact (GDC), DCO is facilitating the participation of startups from across its 16 Member States at the 10th STI Forum. These innovators represent diverse sectors, from fintech and edtech to health tech and AI, and bring practical, ground-level insights into how innovation can accelerate digital prosperity.

Innovation and entrepreneurship are key engines for inclusive growth and sustainable development. As countries strive to harness the benefits of digital transformation, supporting startups and innovators—particularly from developing and emerging economies—is crucial for ensuring that the digital economy is both equitable and transformative.

This side event will serve as a platform to bring the voices of these entrepreneurs directly into the multilateral conversation, showcasing how innovation ecosystems can drive impact across the SDGs and underscoring the importance of enabling environments, access to finance, skills, and cooperation.

Event Objectives

  • Elevate the voices of startups and entrepreneurs from DCO Member States and connect them with global policymakers.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange on entrepreneurship-driven digital transformation across diverse development contexts, and highlight the enabling conditions required for inclusive digital innovation to thrive.
  • Identify key policy, regulatory, and financial enablers to scale digital innovation globally.
  • Explore innovative partnerships for bridging digital divides through data-driven policies and engaging governments, the private sector, academia, and civil society.
