DCO’s General Assembly

The DCO General Assembly (GA) is the annual regular
meeting of the DCO council that brings together Ministers
representing the 16 DCO Member States to discuss and
make decisions in a shared pursuit of progress and
prosperity for a population exceeding 800 million. The
event features several major announcements including
new member accessions, the presidency handover, new
initiatives launches, and more.
The DCO GA is also a platform for the participating
delegations from DCO observers, guest countries and
international organizations to discuss the state of the
digital economy and the challenges facing all nations in
achieving equitable global digital growth and
development.

 

The DCO 4th General Assembly – Jordan

The 4th DCO General Assembly will be held on February 19,
2025, at the Dead Sea in Jordan, bringing together
representatives from Member States, observers, partner
nations, and international organizations. This assembly
celebrates four years of progress in enhancing the digital
economy and addressing global growth challenges.

DCO General Assembly Participation

Ministers and officials representing all DCO Member States, demonstrating a strong commitment to digital cooperation at the highest levels of government.

International organizations:

Representatives from key international organizations including the UN, ITU, UNDP, UNCTAD, World Bank, WEF, International Labour Organization (ILO), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and more converge at the GA to provide a global perspective on digital issues.

Private sector leaders:

Executives from major technology companies and industry associations including DCO’s observers and partners, highlighting the importance of public-private partnerships in the digital economy.

Experts from NGOs, think tanks, and academia, ensuring that diverse voices and perspectives are included in the discussions.
