DCO Launches Second Edition of Digital Prosperity Awards to Recognize Leading Solutions Building the Digital Future
Applications and nominations open to public and private sectors and civil society solutions and initiatives across three pillars and seven categories, alongside three flagship prizes recognizing exceptional contributions to digital prosperity for all

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, 18 October 2026 — The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), the first international organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of an inclusive and sustainable digital economy, announced the launch of the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards (DPA), opening applications and nominations for digital solutions from the public sector, private sector and civil society across DCO Member States and around the world.
The Digital Prosperity Awards recognize exceptional digital solutions, initiatives, and contributions that harness technology and innovation to deliver tangible and measurable economic and social impact, accelerate digital transformation, and contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and prosperous digital economy.
The second edition builds on the success of the inaugural Awards, which recognized seven winners from the public sector, private sector and civil society during a ceremony held on the sidelines of DCO’s 4th General Assembly in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in February 2025, including two recipients of the flagship Digital Prosperity for All prizes.
Ms. Deemah AlYahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, said: “A prosperous digital future is taking shape today through the vision, commitment and creativity of governments, innovators, organizations and communities that embrace digital cooperation. Together, they are turning possibility into progress and technology into tangible, measurable impact in people’s lives. Through the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards, we celebrate exceptional solutions that advance digital prosperity for all. The Awards bring these achievements to the global stage, connecting them with wider networks, new opportunities and partners who can help extend their reach and impact. We call on innovators and organizations across our Member States and around the world to step forward and share the solutions that can transform lives, strengthen communities and open new pathways to opportunity. Your ideas, determination and leadership can help ensure that the digital future we build is inclusive, sustainable and prosperous; one in which every person and every community has the opportunity to thrive.”
Under the theme “Building the Future, Today,” the second edition will spotlight initiatives and solutions already shaping the digital future by improving access to services, empowering people and communities, enabling business growth, advancing innovation and expanding participation in the digital economy.
The second edition spans three core pillars — Digital Enablers, Digital Innovation and Digital Society — across seven categories, alongside three flagship prizes recognizing exceptional contributions to digital prosperity across DCO Member States and beyond.
Ms. Alaa Abdulaal, Chief of Digital Economy Intelligence at the Digital Cooperation Organization, said: “We are looking for solutions that can prove their value, not simply describe their ambition. The strongest entries will show that they are solving a real challenge, delivering measurable results, and have the potential to extend that impact beyond their current context.”
The assessment process will focus on solutions and initiatives addressing local, regional, or global challenges while demonstrating tangible and measurable impact. Entries will undergo eligibility and due diligence checks, followed by evaluation by a judging panel comprising international experts, leaders, innovators and specialists, in accordance with the Awards’ approved criteria, and the winners will be honored at the Digital Prosperity Awards ceremony in 2027.
Applications and nominations close on 4 January 2027. Full category descriptions, eligibility requirements and entry guidance are available at Digital Prosperity Awards .
