The Digital Cooperation Organization’s Secretary-General Receives Credentials of the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the Organization

 

 

The Digital Cooperation Organization’s Secretary-General, Ms. Deemah AlYahya, received the credential of His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, becoming the first permanent representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the Organization.

The Secretary-General of the DCO welcomed the appointment of the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman: “We look forward to working closely with the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to strengthen cooperation between Oman and the Organization. This cooperation will play an active role in supporting the Organization’s mission of enabling digital prosperity for all by accelerating the inclusive and sustainable growth of the global digital economy.”

The accreditation of the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the DCO comes as part of the efforts of the Organization’s General Secretariat to enhance cooperation and diplomatic communication with its Member States to activate the Organization’s initiatives aimed at achieving an inclusive and sustainable digital economy in which every country, company, and individual has a fair opportunity to prosper in the digital economy.
