Key actors driving this narrative include international organizations such as the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the G20, the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), among others.
The DCO Model Startup Act Recommendations for GCC States builds on the GCC Roundtable outcomes, offering tailored strategies to strengthen startup ecosystems across the region. Centered on six pillars: regulation, market access, capacity building, funding, taxation, and incentives. The report provides a clear roadmap for sustainable and inclusive growth. It reinforces the DCO’s commitment to enabling collaboration and ensuring GCC startups are globally competitive while aligned with the SDGs.
