Legal Manager

Job Purpose

Legal Counsel will assist the General Legal Counsel who specialized in international and corporate law, interested in making a real impact and difference in the fast-growing international organization mandate and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide legal advice, support internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis of international laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development, implementation of legal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel on international legal matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
  • Participate in meetings and provide legal guidance on organizational activities.
  • Representing the organization in legal matters.
  • Compliance with international laws and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of international treaties related to international organizations.
  • Ability to provide advice and support to the Council in governance and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Master’s degree in law – LL.M educated in UK or USA preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of experiences in international organization.

Skills

  • Substantial PowerPoint experience required.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic spoken and written.
  • Be well-informed about relevant laws and regulations in force.
  • Highly proficient in communication and interpersonal skills.
