Stakeholders Management Manager

Job Purpose

The Stakeholders Management Manager will play a critical role in planning, managing the stakeholder’s management for the Secretary-General. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Stakeholder Management team.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and provide daily direction to both Engagement Officer and protocol officers.
  • Manage stakeholder mapping of context, issues, and resources.
  • Assist in the organization and facilitation of SG Committees meetings.
  • Support and supervise networking activities, Learning Circles, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders within and across groups.
  • Manage regular contact with all priority stakeholders to keep them informed of SG activities.
  • Coordinate and manage Social Network Analysis activities.
  • Supervise content development for the creation of stakeholder biographies.
  • Supervise the collection of content on a regular basis for a system newsletter and manage its production and distribution.
  • Collect and maintain the stakeholder management data in the data base regularly and continuously and to keep it up to date.
  • Supervise logistics and organization for all SG engagements and events and act as facilitator at some of them.
  • Report writing for all meetings involving stakeholders.
  • Obtaining knowledge and information to shape and inform engagement and communication strategies that foster positive relationships and build shared objectives, identifying and developing strategies to mitigate potential risk for contentious or high-profile issues.
  • Navigate politically sensitive subjects and contexts and maintain constructive relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and transmit her/his analysis effectively to partners and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree of Public Relations or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferred in similar organizations.
